Energy Shift

I started this installation by spending time in the room. I gathered magnets and felt the space and energy, where the magnets were placed was predetermined by the existing metal studs. I try to always recognize the potential of my materials and surroundings and let my work tell me where to go. My lines while deconstructed, and sometimes broken are strong and have carried me through my process like a slow wave. I shifted my attention to the ceiling and central element, the presence of an internal positive energy is important to me. I keep my materials minimal because one thing can be many things. It is my hope for the viewer to be given warmth from the work. This is something that I hope they take and then pass on.
